Artist's Note

There are fundamental questions that I constantly ask myself in this world: Who am I, and what role should I play among my family, friends, and the social environment I belong to?

These questions resonate with everyone at some point in their lives. During the ever-changing landscape around me and the unyielding laws of nature, I reflect on the purpose and meaning of my existence. Where did I come from, and where am I going?

These inquiries naturally lead me to explore social, philosophical, and religious issues.

In nature, there exists a harmony of yin and yang, coupled with the law and order of circulation. Humans come to realize their own finiteness through the inevitable processes of birth, aging, illness, and death. Ultimately, this understanding compels us to live in harmony with nature. Within this insight, the theme of my work emerges as a product of religious and philosophical contemplation regarding the unity of humans and nature. It embodies the vision of people coexisting peacefully with the environment, respecting its balance rather than opposing it.

In my artistic practice, I harmoniously arrange geometric shapes and natural forms to portray multi-layered expressions. These elements reflect the outcome of countless struggles and dedicated practice. I strive to convey abstract images of nature using simple forms and restrained colours, allowing the essence of the natural world to resonate through my work. I hope that my creations evoke a meditative and peaceful feeling in the viewer, offering comfort and tranquillity.
